Jim Handley FCA BCom (Acc) 

Jim trained and qualified with KPMG in Adelaide/Sydney, where he worked on the audit of major corporate and professional clients. At Handley Accounting he is responsible for a portfolio of the firm's larger and more complex clients, including clients subject to specialist audit requirements.

In addition, he provides in house technical support to colleagues and technical assistance to other external practitioners.

Jim's manifesto is always to bring a fresh approach to everything Handley Accounting does and to deliver effective solutions with a first class service. This role is an ideal showcase for his business management skills and experience.

Away from the office, Jim enjoys travel and the outdoors.


Nicholas Handley CPA MAICD BCom (Acc) Ad Dip. (Acc)


Nicholas is responsible for the strategy, growth and direction of the firm, ensuring that client service is at the forefront of our offering. Looking to build the business by increasing the number of individuals, owner-managed business and entrepreneurs that we are working with. Nicholas is responsible for expanding into new geographic areas and increasing our level of service offerings.

Nicholas believes management and communications, business structure are important for any growing organisation, and the application of effective management information systems is essential for achieving success. Nicholas believes measuring performance using Metrics that Matter and regular business modelling gives organisations the agility to innovate rapidly and meet challenges head-on.

Nicholas has worked in both start-ups and established businesses in the retail, finance and manufacturing sectors where he was responsible for internal practice management and strategy; he relishes his role in business management and oversight as an ideal showcase for his skills and experience.

Nicholas also sits on several boards and committees, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Nicholas is the current Honorary Treasurer of Rotary Club Adelaide and has been honoured for his service with a Paul Harris Fellowship.

Away from his desk, Nicholas is a keen musician - enjoying sailing and following both cricket and football when time permits.



Adrian Selway CA BCom (Acc) BMgt (Admin)

Adrian specialises in advising on issues such as business development, tax, accounting and employee matters. He helps clients to understand their business and personal objectives, along with reaching satisfactory solutions that take into account any tax implications.

Adrian works with clients within his portfolio, as well as some fellow colleagues' clients, across of a range of sectors, but he has particular experience and expertise in working with 'technology' related businesses. He has a strong technology related network of contacts including the local academic and professional communities.

A science technology fan, Adrian holds a minor in Information and Communication Technology. Adrian ensures that the Handley Accounting team uses a paperless office approach to its work and is always looking for ways in which technology can help maximise revenue and efficiency both in house and for clients.

A keen advocate of the team approach, he ensures that if clients need advice on other specialist areas, they are introduced to colleagues who can provide the support and high levels of service they require.

Whenever he has the opportunity, Adrian enjoys playing sport and dining out.
